Musicians JJ Gilmour and Horse McDonald will each be performing in Lanarkshire later this month.
Coatbridge songwriter JJ, the former Silencers frontman, is launching his latest album with an exclusive night of live music at Motherwell theatre on Thursday, April 21.
One week later, Horse perform classic album The Same Sky in full to mark its 30th anniversary.

JJ will be joined for the launch of This Time Will Pass by a stellar line-up of artists including Big Country drummer Mark Brzezicki, Deacon Blue bassist Lewis Gordon and Silencers colleague Phil Kane.
The album was recorded at North Lanarkshire facility Beetroot Studio in Airdrie, which is located in the former Petersburn library building and which has also hosted artists including Amy Macdonald and Lewis Capaldi.
Horse will then take to the stage at the Motherwell venue on April 28 for “an evening of classic hits from an illustrious career”.

She will perform her hits from the past three decades, including timeless song Careful, and will play the tracks from The Same Sky in its entirety with a full live band.
It is described as “a very special night which will inevitably conjure up treasured times from over the years for the entire audience”.
