Up close with Tom Pidcock’s new Pinarello Crossista F cyclocross bike for the World Championships!

There are some interesting details in the paint work– will Tom play his cards right this weekend and end up being world champ? Also, even with the new geometry he apparently likes to run his seat very far back, even with an obstacle post.

Thanks to the covert tubes and wires in advance, the cockpit is extremely clean.

After Tom Pidcock formally signed with the Ineos Grenadiers squad in early 2021, Pinarello knew they had to get to work right away. All of that brings us to today, with Tom and his group on the ground in Fayetteville, AR to compete worldwide Championships. Pinarello states that testing to this point led to another modification in carbon layup prior to what could be the production bike was developed up and delivered to Tom in time for the race. Luckily, our resident CX professional Jordan Villella remains in Arkansas to cover the event and snapped these pictures of Toms latest bike. According to Pinarello, the bike weighs in at 7.39 kg (16.29 lb) in the official teams race configuration.

One of the big things Tom desired was an upgraded leading tube and front triangle to make running and taking on with the bike much easier and more comfortable.

Unspecified geometry tweaks were made to the frame consisting of altering the BB height, apparently assisted by Toms remarkable bike managing skills.
