Celebrity Celtic fans Martin Compston and Gianni Capaldi and ex-players Alan Thompson and Bobby Petta have been filmed whipping up a crowd of fans who are singing an IRA chant.

The footage, shot at the Celtic Convention currently taking place in Las Vegas, emerged online earlier today.

It showed a huge crowd singing “Irish Republic Army” and “IRA” to the tune of Daniel Boone’s 1972 hit Beautiful Sunday.

A diabetic woman was left stranded in Alicante after Ryanair refused to let her board a flight home with her hand luggage because it was ‘too big’.

Teresa Bruce had travelled to Benidorm from Prestwick Airport with pals for a five-day trip and was queueing for her flight home when she was approached by a Ryanair staff member.

The 63-year-old, from Irvine, was told her hand luggage was too big to take on board and she would need to pay €69 to place the suitcase in the hold, despite travelling with the same case days earlier.

The parents of a young care home worker who took her own life say she was haunted from washing the corpses of dead residents.

Tragic Taylor Watterson worked in Fullarton Care Home, in Irvine, and Shalom Care Home, in Dreghorn.

Taylor, 22, was tasked with cleaning people she’d cared for in the Ayrshire homes once they had passed away.

The gang – believed to be aged between nine and 13 – battered the large windows of the business premises before issuing the chilling threat to nail artist Kasey as she tried to lock the door.

The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has dismissed calls from Labour MP Steve McCabe to introduce a new £20 weekly uplift for all legacy benefit claimants and people on Universal Credit to help them through the cost of living crisis.

People on Universal Credit received a £20 weekly increase from the DWP from April 2020 to October 2021 to help them pay for additional costs incurred during the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent lockdowns.
