The match between Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match was quite intense. PBKS beat MI by 12 runs in match 23 of the ongoing IPL season at the MCA Stadium in Pune. PBKS opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan (70) hits a half-century to give his team a solid platform before they managed to post a total of 198/5 against MI. Dhawan was surely the star of the match and he created some massive records during the game. He broke Mr. IPL Suresh Raina’s record for the most runs against Mumbai Indians. With 871 runs from 27 innings, the cricketer has now scored the most runs against the five-time IPL champions. Raina had scored 824 runs from 34 innings. That’s not it for Dhawan. He also became the first batsman in the history of IPL to hit 800 boundaries. The batter is sitting pretty on top of the table with 802 boundaries. RCB’s former skipper Virat Kohli is second on the elite list with 768 boundaries.
