[Caution: Potentially Triggering Content] The California male who was arrested for the murder of his other half apparently got spellcasters to place a hex on her weeks before her disappearance.
As we reported, Maya Millete disappeared from her house in Chula Vista in January 2021. Buddies and family soon became suspicious of her hubby Larry, viewing as Maya was arranged to consult with a divorce lawyer the day she disappeared.
Well, the household hired private detective Billy Littler to learn what happened, and it appears Larry apparently went to disconcerting (and rather vicious) lengths to keep the 39-year-old by his side.
According to Littler, an ex-criminal defense investigator for the Navy, the 40-year-old other half sent out hundreds of e-mails to a number of online “spellcasters … psychics, spirit-channeler, or white-light professionals capable of energy work” before his wife disappeared.

Littler declared that Larry purchased a variety of “spells” from the expected mystics on all ends of the wonderful spectrum. Per the PI, Millete looked for a spell to “boost a persons love life, remove debt, or make a romantic partner remain faithful.” Other spellcasters, on the other hand, offered to straight up hex the bad lady and “disable” her so she couldnt leave the home (!!!).
Per reports, Millete apparently composed to one magic specialist:
” Please penalize May (Maya) and disarm her adequate so she cant leave the home. Its time to take the gloves off.”
OMG, thats some major Voldemort voodoo!
A week prior to Mayas disappearance, her other half apparently emailed another mystic requesting for a spell that would physically damage his other half, writing:
” Can you hex to have her hurt enough that she will have to depend on me or need my assistance? Thanks again.
Larry issued another request to a spellcaster in the early hours of January 8, the day after Maya was last seen. The message saw the father-of-four asking the mystic to save his marital relationship, an hour after Mayas phone activity all of a sudden stopped, according to Chula Vista cops.
Littler, who likewise discovered a makeshift shrine made by Millete during his 1-month investigation into the mothers disappearance, stated Millete abruptly requested for the hexes versus his better half to be stopped the next day. No other messages came after.
The PI explained that Millete even left a glowing review for among the online mages, sharing:
” There are people on the web thatll sell you for five dollars, you know, how to make a spell that will get her to be drawn in to you. … And thats what he tried to do … And he writes of this spellcaster, She is kind, courteous and expert. My casting has actually not yet manifested, but Im truly hoping and counting on it. Leaving an evaluation like one would leave on Yelp for a food order. Like, its an Uber trip … Like, Oh, 5 star. Good job spellcaster. Hes not rather as smart as he thinks he is. He doesnt recognize that all of that things is pointing the finger at him.”

Private investigators revealed in California state court that aside from contracting the spellcasters, Millete presumably browsed “poison hemlock” and investigated dangerous plants online days prior to Mayas disappearance.
Millete, who kept a large collection of rifles and guns in his home, was detained was detained on charges in connection to the murder of his other half in October. He pleaded innocent to first-degree murder and illegal belongings of an assault weapon on October 21.
Millete insists his wife, who authorities have yet to find, left him to begin a new life. An arranged January court date for the suspected killer has been pressed back to later on this year.
