The OPEC+ oil alliance has postponed a meeting until December 5 to decide on the next steps in its crude production strategy, two delegated sources told CNBC.
The sources did not wish to be named given the sensitivity of the discussions.
The coalition, made up of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies, was initially scheduled to meet on December 1. They will now meet virtually next week.
