My Arizona Packing List: 7 of My Favorite Pieces I'm Bringing With Me | Spirit and pleasure

We’re going to Arizona this weekend for spring break with the kids! The only big thing on the agenda is to relax and soak up the sun, something we all desperately crave.

I worked on my Arizona packing list the entire week leading up to our trip. Today I’m sharing some of my favorite pieces that I bring with me. The items below are a handful of staples that I can easily mix and match throughout our trip. Packing pieces that are versatile enough to be worn multiple times is always the way to go.

These are seven of the essential items on my Arizona packing list.

1. Mille Safran dress (free)

$238

This dress will work great over a swimsuit or paired with a hat and sneakers. It’s also the one that will allow me to indulge at mealtime as much as I want without having to worry about feeling bloated in my outfit. I will probably bring this pretty Mille dress also optional (photo some photos below)!

2. H&M High Waisted Shorts

$20

I prefer baggy shorts these days as I find they are more flattering on my figure. It’s also a very versatile style that can easily be paired with tank tops, button-down shirts, and sweaters. I ordered these shorts recently and know they will be a staple on this trip and beyond.

3. Everlane Organic Cotton Crew Sweater

$98

I’m packing a vintage blue crewneck sweater for this trip. I also like this similar option from Everlane. I’ll wear it over my summer dress in the morning or with a white t-shirt underneath, tucked into shorts.

4. Sézane tomboy shirt

$110

I pack a vintage white button-down shirt. The one photographed here from Sézane is of a very similar style. I’m going to put this in vintage Levi’s 501 jeans and I will also wear it on my swimsuit!

5. J. Crew Metallic Ball Earrings

$24

These go with everything and make any outfit look “done” without much effort. I’ve been wearing them all the time lately!

6. H&M jacquard woven bag

$35

I bought this H&M tote bag to carry all sorts of things my kids or I might need while exploring. The bag I purchased is currently out of stock, but I also love the bag pictured above!

7. GH Bass Weejuns Whitney loafers with cleats

$175

These shoes go with everything!! Joe gave these to me for Christmas and they are perfect. The style I have is currently available in limited sizes, but I also love this option.

A note on comfort: I found them to be uncomfortable for the first hour or two of wearing them, then they adjusted to my feet the best they could.
