Mattel has a big “Wicked” problem on its hands… because it added a URL to the back of its Elphaba and Glinda toys – and it turns out it’s a very NSFW site.
Here’s the deal… the toy company offers dolls featuring characters from the movie based on the Broadway musical of the same name – primarily selling action figures of the two main witches.
Mattel mistakenly printed a pornographic site on the packaging of its “Wicked” dolls.
The intended web address for the film was “https://t.co/Q2A56WOHul“, but the packaging only contained the word “nasty”. pic.twitter.com/P8pDOh5Au2

On the back of the dolls, they put a URL to the website “www.wicked.com”… in case the people who buy the toys want to buy more – except it’s not the company’s website. It’s a porn site!
Mattel’s website for its toy catalog is “www.wickedmovie.com”… a minor error with major consequences for any child who has ever tried the website.
Clearly, there’s a lot of outrage from parents online…mostly because they accidentally went to the website – and not so much because their child did.
A representative for Mattel told TMZ…they were aware of the printing error – made primarily on dolls sold in the United States. They deeply regret the mistake and are taking steps to ensure that no future dolls have an incorrect URL on the back.

Mattel recommends that parents discard the product packaging or hide the link…and anyone with further questions is asked to contact Mattel customer service for more information.
Bottom line…parents should put this website on the back of the box – unless they want to answer really tricky questions!
