To the editor: A article on the front page of the Times featured stories about the effects Vice President Kamala Harris had on the lives of four people during her time as a prosecutor in California. Reading this, one could reasonably come away undecided about Harris, given that two people were helped and two were injured.
An article on page A-4 of this edition mentioned that 40 psychiatric professionals had expressed his concern on the deteriorating mental state of Harris’ presidential rival.
An article on page A-6 told us about alarm expressed by federal judges on the potential for political violence, noting the conspiracy theories Harris’ rival is spreading about the upcoming election.
If I hadn’t gotten past the first page, I would have easily missed the forest for the trees.
