It’s officially spring and the temperatures are (finally) rising. And even though I can’t yet put away all my sweatersI can start incorporating new, lighter pieces. The secret to achieving this change lies in the art of layering.
Sézaneessential for effortlessly chic and feminine pieces, has become a staple in my wardrobe. I probably wear something from them several times a week. I love the details and feminine silhouettes of the pieces I’m sharing today.
THE Louise sweater is currently my favorite pullover to grab during this season of transition and I’m never without my Classic Milo bag.
01
Tomboy shirt
$110
The lightweight fabric, classic neckline and long-sleeve silhouette make it the perfect layering piece. Pair this shirt with mid-length denim shorts and sandals for an effortless and stylish look or dress it down with pants, loafers and a trench coat for more formal occasions.
A note on fit: This shirt runs a little smaller than I thought, so if you want a real boyfriend/oversized look, size up two sizes.
02
Anya low ballerinas
$245
I feel delicate when I wear them. The silhouette is very flattering! These flats can easily be paired with jeans, shorts or a skirt and can also be dressed up with a blazer or light jacket. For a more refined look, pair them with wide-leg pants and a silk blouse.
A note on fit: They’re just a little big. If you are between sizes, I would size down.
03
Émile Cardigan
$170
The Emile Cardigan is perfect. It can be worn with the buttons in front or behind! The lightweight alpaca and wool blend makes it comfortable enough for breezy spring days, while the balloon sleeves give it a fun silhouette. It will pair perfectly with jeans and a t-shirt or with a feminine skirt and blouse.
A note on fit: It fits true to size.
04
Milo bag
$390
It’s the most versatile bag on the market! Carry it cross-body or cross-body. You can also personalize this beautiful bag with a free monogram.
I love this bag so much that I want to get it in another color. It contains all my essentials in an organized way thanks to the pocket system! I feel like a lady who doesn’t dig through the bottom of a giant tote bag to retrieve my car keys.
05
Eglantine Blouse
$130
The silhouette of this blouse is so flattering. This is one of my favorite Sézane items in my wardrobe. The delicate fabric and high gathered collar give this blouse a romantic and feminine look, perfect for those days when you want to feel extra special. The long sleeves and back slit give it a subtle touch of sophistication and make it easy to pair with almost anything. Wear it with jeans and sandals for a casual daytime look or with high-waisted pants and heels for a dressier evening style.
A note on fit: This blouse runs a little small and you will need help buttoning it in the back. But it’s definitely worth it!
06
Sami sweater
$145
The lightweight blend of merino wool and organic cotton will keep you comfortably warm on cold spring days. In terms of color choices, this sweater comes in neutral tones of navy and natural that will pair well with pastel spring hues or floral prints to create an eye-catching outfit.
A note on fit: This sweater is quite short. It looks great with jeans and high-waisted pants, but just be aware that when you raise your arms you’ll show some skin. Personally, I like having a cute cropped sweater in the rotation because it offers a more streamlined look than tucking it into my pants.
