Great to have RYAN LEAF come on the show to talk about why he believes in Brock Purdy… and why he believes in the Packers… what Justin Herbert told him about Harbaugh and much more on NFL, media and life in recovery and inspiration.

Ryan Leaf…we’ll done mate
I love the idea of the chef! Wish it was affordable to get that in the Bay Area.
Ryan makes such a great point about Deebo and BA…. Deebo was injured in the superbowl and Kyle still refused to move off his guy. That is Kyle’s weakness, he can’t pivot in critical moments.
Read “Incognito the hidden life of the brain” to learn more about how tumors can impact human behavior.
Damn, is Ryan a vegan now because he has gotten unrecognizably thin. I love the arc of his story and what a truth teller he has become. And thank you to Guy for giving Ryan the space to talk.
Was never really a fan of Ryan Leaf, but wow has that changed after seeing this interview. Class act, and very humble guy. Definitely want to see and hear more from him and you Guy!
Wait, mcGyver?!?
Interesting guest. Also Interesting how when Aldon Smith does a interview he's seen as a waste, thug, etc. But Ryan LEAF who had been to prison for burglary, drug related crimes is welcomed with open arms, and he and others like should be. But black players who have issues whose seen through different social lenses.😐
55:06 I use this as well. Only difference is I say, “It is what it is until it isn’t anymore.”
23 minutes into the video and talking about "new girl" … thought I'd get some Niners here without searching for it.
To inhance the offense

I lived in San Diego when Ryan Leaf was the qb in 2000 & they went winless. Loved the drama weekly watching Leaf & the Chargers
Leaf is a solid dude. Makes you wonder what could of been if he had his head on straight when he was younger.
Minus hiring a chef, I think we should all look at how much we spend eating out. The alternative to hiring a chef might be to get a meal prep service. We can all benefit from cooking our own food… myself included! 🙋🏻♀️
47:29 … I guess I will be the one…Bosa was held on that Tyreek Hill deep catch late in the game! Also, Ryan Leaf is a great guest.
Ryan Leaf is a true Coug legend!!! I’m a Coug alumni and always have mad respect for Ryan!!
The "no processed food" part of Ryan's advice is fairly attainable, even on a budget. I started purging seed oils from my diet as best I could a few years ago which by proxy eliminates a ton of processed foods and I never looked back.
Great content, really like the Pac influences
I was a kid watching Ryan at Wazzu. some of the first games of my life. GO COUGS!
Congrats, Ryan, for turning your life around so completely and for the work you do helping others.
"It is what it is" is such a great mantra. Acceptance is the key to contentment. Ryan Leaf may call it serenity.
I know Ryan meant well, but the only chef I'd be able to afford right now is Chef Boyardee…
That interview was some of your best work, Guy.. Never really knew much about Ryan other than his failed football career, substance abuse and jail time scanned from headlines.. In terms of football knowledge and all the layers of the game from tactics to psychology he is an elite analyst..
Add his own personal story, the work he has put in on himself, the game and his craft, he is deserving of the opportunity to present the game at it's highest level..
Any of the major content distributors in the game would be wise to give him the opportunity, especially Amazon who is attempting to become a player with a lackluster play by play/analyst duo..
Yes, Great job Guy you can never go wrong bringing a Coug Legend onto your program.
No shade to Middlekauf. But definitely Guy has a better knack as an interviewer.
GO PACKERS!!
Great interview, high bar set now!
