Australia announces additional border security in response to Omicron variant

Australia has announced new steps for incoming travellers in reaction to the development of the Omicron COVID-19 variant. All abroad arrivals into NSW, the ACT and Victoria will be required to get evaluated and separate for 72 hours. Visitors getting here into Australia who have been in the 9 African nations where the Omicron variant was found need to go into monitored quarantine for 14 days.
